Netball North exists to provide leadership for Netball Centres and players in order to foster and promote:
increased participation
development of the game of netball
achievement of excellence
the marketing and promotion of netball

Empowerment ... so that Netball Centres can participate in the entity as equals.
Innovation ... so that we encourage increased participation and enjoyment.
Honesty ... so that we build trust in our relationships.
Service ... so that netball player, coaches, umpires, administrators and other stakeholders are satisfied with our services and programmes.
Netball North Incorporated is one of 12 Region Entities set up by Netball New Zealand to administer the game at a regional level within New Zealand. Netball North was established in 1999 and is administered by the Netball North Board. There are seven Board Members including the Chair and the President. Up until 2003 a volunteer Board and a part-time administrator administered the game of netball in the North. In 2003 a Regional Manager was employed fulltime and consequently became part of the group of 12 Regional Managers set up with funding secured by Netball New Zealand through the Scottwood Trust.
